Prepline

Terms of service

Last updated November 9, 2026

Prepline is operated by [operator name and address to be added before launch].

These terms cover your use of Prepline, a web tool that turns product label files and lists into print-ready labels for thermal printers and sticker sheets. When you buy a plan you’ll be asked to agree to them; please read them first.

Not affiliated with Amazon or Walmart

Prepline is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Amazon, Walmart or any printer maker; their names are used only to describe what Prepline works with. Labels are laid out to follow Amazon’s published item label specifications and Walmart’s published WFS label guidance, but marketplaces change their rules and printers differ. Print and scan one test label before every large run. You are responsible for the codes, quantities, conditions and placement of your labels, and for meeting each marketplace’s current requirements.

Plans

Pro renews automatically

Pro monthly renews every month and Pro yearly every year, at the then-current price (now US$9 a month or US$79 a year, tax included), charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel. For yearly plans you’ll get a reminder email before each renewal with the date, the price and how to cancel. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

How to cancel: cancel online at any time at link.com (sign in with the email you used at checkout), from the link in your receipt, or by emailing support@your-domain.example. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. See Refunds for renewal refunds.

Payments

Orders are sold through Link, the merchant of record service of Stripe. Link/Stripe takes your payment, issues your receipt and handles sales tax and VAT; Stripe’s terms govern the payment itself. Your card statement will show a charge from LINK.COM. We provide the software and support.

Your license key

After checkout we show you a license key. Keep it: it unlocks Prepline in other browsers and on other computers. It is for you, or for the people in your business who prep your shipments. Please don’t publish or resell it; we may disable keys that are shared publicly. Refunded or charged-back purchases stop unlocking Prepline.

Your content

Your label files and lists are processed on your own device and are never sent to us. They remain yours; we claim no rights to them.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Prepline to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights (including by labelling counterfeit goods), or to interfere with the service or other people’s use of it.

Disclaimer

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPLINE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, AND WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY LABEL WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY MARKETPLACE, CARRIER OR WAREHOUSE.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, inventory fees, data or opportunities, and our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Consumers

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. For UK consumers, this includes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects paying customers, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
